Training and job placement for young exiles
The "Objectif Emploi: training and support for young exiles in their search for employment in Grenoble" project supported by the Foundation aims to train and support 24 young people between September 2024 and September 2025.

An association under the law of 1901, it promotes the inclusion of exiled people (mainly refugees). It offers vocational training, supports companies in inclusive recruitment and management, and creates social links with the local community. Since 2019, Weavers has supported and trained over 1,500 people in Lyon, Annecy, Grenoble and Paris.
Helping people find jobs and meeting companies' recruitment needs
The "Objectif Emploi: training and support for young exiles in their search for employment in Grenoble" project aims to facilitate the professional integration of exiled people in the Grenoble region. Despite their skills and experience, they are often excluded from training and employment due to their unfamiliarity with the codes of the French job market. At the same time, local companies find it hard to recruit, either because they are unfamiliar with inclusion schemes, or because they are reluctant to commit themselves without support.
As part of the project, 24 young exiles will be supported towards employment between September 2024 and September 2025. Weavers France offers a comprehensive full-time program combining group training (French, digital, employability), individual support and social integration. For 16 weeks, including 3 work placements, participants will benefit from courses, personalized follow-up to remove peripheral barriers to employment, and activities to help them meet new people. They will then be redirected towards apprenticeships or fixed-term / open-ended jobs with partner companies, with ongoing support.
Specific objectives
- Meeting the training needs of young exiles,
- Promoting the professional integration of young exiles,
- Supporting the mastery of French,
- Help remove peripheral barriers to employment and (re)build confidence,
- Meet the recruitment needs of companies in the region's shortage sectors.
59 people supported since 2023 in Isère
Among them, 64% have a job or training leading to a qualification
"I'm delighted to be following this project for the Foundation. With a colleague, I had the opportunity to meet the beneficiaries through a Climate Fresk workshop adapted to their level of French. It was a very touching and enriching experience for all concerned".

Employee involvement
