Xavier Rigolot is appointed General Manager of the Fondation Air Liquide as of October 1st 2022

Paris, July 13, 2022

On June 29th 2022, the board of directors of the Fondation Air Liquide approved the appointment of Xavier Rigolot as General Manager of the Foundation. Xavier is due to start on October 1st 2022 when Bruno Leprince-Ringuet retires from Air Liquide.

Xavier Rigolot brings the Foundation his personal interest and commitment in societal matters, his great experience and his excellent knowledge of the Group. He will remain in charge of the “Access Oxygen” team that promotes accessibility to medical oxygen in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). Xavier is based in Paris and will report to me.

Working with the Group’s teams, the Foundation has backed over 200 social and scientific projects since Bruno joined in November 2018, including a new initiative to support the integration of young people into the jobs market. This has benefited the daily lives of thousands of people and opened up new research prospects. Swift and effective programmes were also set up in response to the crises triggered by Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine.
