Opening of a sociocultural centre in Essaouira

The Air Liquide Foundation is pleased to have contributed to the construction and the opening of a sociocultural centre in rural Morocco. Carried out by the French-Moroccan association Afoulki, this project is mainly aimed at women in precarious situation in order to facilitate their emancipation and their autonomy.

This 600 square meter structure is composed of a multimedia and alphabetization centre, a large kitchen, a multitask room, artifact workshops and their shop, offices, and a 20 bed housing facility.
