Boosting the confidence and skills of young NEETs to facilitate their social and professional integration.

Many young people who have dropped out of school or vocational training (NEET*) find it difficult to buself-confidence and envision a professional future. The "À Voix Haute" project offers a 60-hour intensive training course designed to boost their self-esteem, develop their communication skills and support them in building their professional project.

À Voix Haute: giving a voice to young NEETs

The "À Voix Haute" project responds to a major challenge: many young people who have dropped out of school or vocational training (NEETs) are struggling to regain their self-confidence and project themselves into a professional future. This intensive 60-hour training course aims to boost participants' self-esteem, communication skills and autonomy, while promoting social inclusion. Each session welcomes 30 young people aged between 18 and 30, selected based on their motivation and need for support and requires no prior academic qualifications . The program covers professional integration, scenic expression, rhetoric, creative writing, competition coaching and vocal techniques.

The program, already established for several years in Saint-Denis, Marseille, Nanterre, Paris-Saclay, Grenoble, and Limoges, has successfully trained 180 young people as of 2024. Thanks to the support of the Air Liquide Foundation, it will be extended for the first time in 2026 to Créteil and Lyon, providing support to 60 additional young people, making a total of 240 beneficiaries nationally and internationally. Beyond the participants, the volunteer teams involved develop their civic commitment, organizational skills and employability.

This initiative thus contributes to reinforcing equal opportunities, offering concrete prospects to the most vulnerable youth  and supporting their sustainable social and professional integration, in line with the solidarity mission carried out by the Air Liquide Foundation.

  • 60 young people trained in 2026

will benefit from 60 hours of intensive training to boost self-confidence and self-esteem.

  • at least 15% of participants will be young people far from employment, prioritized for targeted support

Reaching out to the young people who need it most

This project is not just about training: it's about reaching the young people who are furthest from employment right where they live and learn. Through partnerships with local community centers, local missions  and associations, we ensure an inclusive selection process, giving priority to NEETs and young people in situations of social or professional vulnerability.

Each participant benefits from 60 intensive hours of learning focused on public speaking and collective living, accompanied by personalized follow-up. The project combines individual and collective impact: in addition to the beneficiaries, the volunteers and trainers strengthen their civic and professional skills. Thanks to this program, we are creating a lasting leverage effect in the region, promoting inclusion, confidence and concrete prospects for the future.

At Eloquentia, I discovered a 'family' where mutual support empowers young people to thrive and prepare for their future with confidence. Their smiles during the workshops are the most powerful testament to the positive impact of the 'À Voix Haute' program. I am proud to support this mission, which perfectly aligns with Air Liquide’s core values of proximity and engagement.

What the Air Liquide Foundation does

Support from the Air Liquide Foundation will enable the launch of the "À Voix Haute" intensive training program for 30 young people in Lyon and 30 in Créteil, based on the same model as the existing cohorts. The endowment will finance the training of 14 local trainers, the adaptation of the pedagogy to the local context, the provision of suitable venues for the 6 days of training, as well as meals for all participants. It will also cover travel and accommodation for the Eloquentia competition manager, to ensure high-quality logistical and pedagogical support, and the costs of national coordination of the program.

Thanks to this support, the project will be able to reach new territories, strengthen social inclusion and create concrete opportunities for integration for young people who are far removed from conventional career paths.

Involvement of Air Liquide employees

Air Liquide employees will be fully involved in the deployment of the "À Voix Haute" training programs in Lyon and Créteil. They will act as mentors, accompanying the young people for one or two hours a week to help them structure theircareer goals, enhance their skills and overcome the obstacles to integration. They will also take part in job fairs and inspiring testimonials, interview simulation workshops, CV and cover letter reviews, as well as oral expression sessions as mock jurors. Last but not least, some of our employees will be able to welcome young people on short (1-2 week) internships, giving them their first contact with the professional world. This concrete involvement will strengthen the link between the associative program and the company, while giving meaning to the employees' commitment.
