CLUBHOUSE Association – Paris

Supporting people living with mental health conditions towards social and professional integration

People living with mental health disabilities are among those furthest from the labor market in France. Clubhouse Paris-Est is a day center that supports the recovery and the social and professional reintegration of individuals affected by mental health conditions (bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, severe depression, burnout, etc.). Today, Clubhouse Paris-Est welcomes 389 members.

The Air Liquide Foundation supports a program of concrete actions contributing to the recovery and professional integration of the members welcomed at the Clubhouse.

This project aims to improve and develop both individual and collective support for Clubhouse Paris members, fostering their recovery and increasing their social and professional inclusion.

  • 389 members living with mental health conditions supported

  • 134 members on a professional integration path (up from 104 in 2024)

  • 120 members benefiting from a Personalized Recovery Plan (compared to 60 in 2024)

Air Liquide Employee Engagement

Air Liquide employees are involved in this project through:

  • Regular visits to the Clubhouse by our ambassadors and the participation of three employees in the Paris Clubhouse Evening on March 31, 2026;
  • IT workshops to be conducted by employees at the Clubhouse by the end of 2026;
  • A mental health e-café scheduled for September 17.

Further opportunities are being explored to support the professional integration of people living with mental health conditions:

  • Professional immersion opportunities for Clubhouse members within Air Liquide Group entities;
  • A half-day mental health awareness session for employees.

What the Air Liquide Foundation does

The program supported by the Air Liquide Foundation makes it possible:

To improve individual support for members provided by the association’s integration officers. These specialists help members define their projects and support them in achieving their goals throughout their journey through personalized, tailored follow-up, including after they have returned to work. To support the integration team, the Foundation contributed to the funding of professional supervision and practice analysis workshops.

To develop workshops contributing to recovery and professional integration. Specifically, the Foundation supported employment workshops, writing workshops, and podcast creation workshops.

To raise corporate awareness regarding "mental health and employability." The Foundation supported "L’Expo de Ouf," an exhibition created by members to break down stigmas and taboos surrounding mental health, as well as corporate breakfasts designed to increase professional immersion opportunities for members. Furthermore, it will support Clubhouse’s presence at the Inclusiv’Day trade fair in October 2026.
