A successful clothing drive for La Cravate Solidaire!
The generosity of Air Liquide employees has paid off! On Thursday, 16 October, the clothing drive held in Bagneux (near Paris) to benefit the association came to an end.
This event, which is part of the Air Liquide Foundation's support for the association, was a resounding success, with 168 kilos of clothing collected. The many suits, dresses and shirts donated offer much more than just clothing. They provide a tangible stepping stone to employment and help boost candidates' confidence before interviews.
A commitment to equal opportunities
This initiative is in line with the Air Liquide Foundation's mission of Jobs Integration. The Foundation is once again supporting La Cravate Solidaire in its essential work of fighting discrimination in hiring based on appearance. Support focuses on the "Coup de Pouce Pour Tous" (A Helping Hand for All) project. This program aims to support around 100 disabled candidates (RQTH) in Paris and Pau.
Employee involvement: a pillar of success
The success of this clothing drive demonstrates the strong involvement of Air Liquide employees. Employee engagement in its project is also reflected in
- Skills-based volunteering (HR coaching).
- Team volunteering (sorting clothes as a team-building exercise).
- Digital volunteering (seven modules, including CV writing)
Thank you to our employees for their generosity!
