The "Juralternance" production school inaugurates its new premises

  • Job integration

Committed to the integration of young people and already a partner of the National Federation of Production Schools, the Air Liquide Foundation supported the renovation of the premises of the Juralternance production school in Dole in Franche-Comté. The Air liquide France Industrie monitored the project on behalf of the Foundation.

In addition, the Campus Innovation Paris donated 2 generators (MIG/MAG welding station and plasma cutting station) to the school.

Juralternance offers young people two training courses: Automobile Mechanics and Metalwork. They are based on alternating between practical workshops and general lessons. Professionals introduce young people to a trade, their trade. A proven approach, appreciated by companies, a pedagogy of meaning and success, a place of progressive integration into working life, a path of excellence for all. This training responds to the needs of companies in tension at the local level which have difficulty finding qualified young people. Today, 90 young people have passed through the school in 6 school years. 80% of the students who have graduated from the school have gone on to further study or employment.

After 8 years of development of the Juralternance production school in fragmented and unsuitable premises, the association ECCOFOR - Écouter, Comprendre, Former (Listen, Understand, Form) - had a new building constructed and inaugurated on October 14-15th 2021 in the presence of the main partners. The students also participated in some of the fittings such as the stairs, railings and platforms of the new buildings.
