The Air Liquide Foundation acts within the framework of its corporate purpose. On the one hand, it supports research and scientific education projects in the field of respiratory diseases and air quality, and on the other hand, it supports local development projects, especially in the field of professional integration, in the locations where the Air Liquide Group operates.
The Foundation complies with 5 principles of governance:
The choice of projects complies with the principles of integrity, transparency, absence of conflicts of interest and independence.
The Foundation does not serve the financial interests of its management team, directors, founders nor, more broadly, its stakeholders including the project sponsors or the members of the project selection committee.
The Foundation takes into account when studying each project, the interactions of the beneficiaries of the donations with the potentially concerned entities of the Air Liquide Group and insures that the Principles of Actions of the Air Liquide Group are fully complied with.
The decision to support a project is always made after an open and contradictory discussion.
The Foundation takes special care in the monitoring of the selected projects in order to verify the proper destination and use of the allocated resources. Periodic reports are submitted to the Foundation throughout the duration of the project.
