The FNEP inaugurates its new production school in Le Havre, France

Last November 8th, the French Federation of Production Schools (FNEP) inaugurated a new school specialized in sheet metal work near Le Havre, in the presence of the school's private / public partners, including Edouard Philippe, mayor of Le Havre, and elected officials and local stakeholders and foundations, including the Air Liquide Foundation represented by Jean-Marc de Royere.

Engaged for professional integration, the AirLiquide Foundation supported the creation of this school by financing state-of-the-art equipment and by relying on the skills of Air Liquide teams in Normandy.

The FNEP responds to the challenges of unemployment and skills shortages in many technical trades by providing certification programs for young people, especially those who did not complete their studies, in trades that have high numbers of unfilled openings.

These trainings teach them a trade by manufacturing products that respond to real customer orders. Thanks to their innovative "learning by doing" educational approach, nearly 100% of those who earn their certificates go on to secure a job or continue their studies.

The French Federation of Production Schools has set itself the objective of promoting the professional integration of 4,000 youths each year, by opening 100 schools by 2028.
