Support for the Protection Civile de Paris

The Air Liquide Foundation contributes to the work done by the Protection Civile de Paris by helping in the purchase of defibrillators used during an emergency intervention to resuscitate heart attack victims.

The Protection Civile de Paris is an association involved in three different areas: setting up first aid plans, offering first aid training and taking part in social and humanitarian actions.

It brings together more than 350 first aid workers, nurses and doctors. The teams work with several public organizations such as the Prefecture de Police of Paris, the firemen’s brigade and the SAMU of Paris. It also sets up autonomous first aid plans during demonstrations, shows, exhibitions…

The Protection Civile de Paris also has considerable material resources that enable it to carry out emergency interventions: first aid vehicles, an emergency management and dispatch room, electric generators, an emergency housing unit that can hold over 100 people evacuated from their building in the event of an incident…

A word from the sponsor:
Yves Sauvage, Clientele Counselor - Air Liquide Santé France (Paris region)

“I believe that this project totally fits in with the Air Liquide Foundation’s missions. When I met the representatives of the Protection Civile de Paris, I saw that we shared the same commitments in the areas of safety and training. I am delighted to take part in this enriching experience concerning subjects that are particularly important to me.”
