Creation of the “House of the Circle” in Nancy, in France, a center dedicated to helping cancer patients

Maison du Cercle - Cercle des Amazones - Logo Health professionals, just like patients and their families, recognize the importance of adapted support, and not only medical, throughout the duration of an illness, and especially cancer. As a complement to the public structures in this area, the Cercle des Amazones association was created in 2006 in Nancy by patients to help men and women affected to any degree by cancer, welcome them, listen to them and orient them in a practical way.

Given the growing number of members, a specific reception space became a necessity. The Air Liquide Foundation is supporting the creation of the “House of the Circle”, which will allow the members to get together to support and help each other… as well as to take care of themselves and take part in psychology, nutrition, hairdressing and aesthetics workshops, talking groups and relaxation and sports activities like swimming and walking.
