The Air Liquide Foundation is continuing its support for the association Enfance Maghreb Avenir in its renovation of the Dakhla lower secondary school in Casablanca.
Enfance Maghreb Avenir (EMA), an association present in both Morocco and France, has been involved for the last five years in enrolling disadvantaged children from the slums of Casablanca in school. In order to fight against dropping out, EMA renovates and re-equips the infrastructures, and after having provided the minimum, creates libraries and multimedia rooms and offers schoolchildren extracurricular activities.
Today, EMA has eight completely renovated schools to its credit. In order to continue its action, EMA works closely with the students, teachers, parents and local administrations to ensure maintenance of the premises.
After having, in 2010, contributed a first financial support to the association, the Air Liquide Foundation decided to continue this aid to renovate the playing field and coatrooms of the Dakhla lower secondary school. Sports activities are a way for the EMA to help the academic then the social insertion of these youngsters.
